Woody Debris Recycling Days, May 21-22 & Annual Town Hall Meeting May 31 is almost here! Don’t miss these two important events!

 It’s Spring and time to get rid of your unwanted woody debris with the Chumstick Wildfire Stewardship Coalition! Bring your clean woody debris less than 8″ dbh, no yard waste or treated lumber to the Chelan County Pit at East Leavenworth Road and Icicle Road, May 21-22 from 10 am to 2 pm. Please track your hours, money spent, cubic load size and mileage; we qualify for funding for these events by tracking this information. Attend the Annual Town Hall Event May 31 from 1-4 pm at the Chelan County Fire District Meeting Room located at 228 Chumstick Highway and here updates from the Chumstick Wildfire Stewardship Coalition leadership as well as other partners in the area on fuels reduction programs and forest health updates in our area!
