Woody Biomass
The Woody Biomass Committee is working to identify, create, and communicate existing biomass utilization opportunities to private landowners. The CWSC is currently working with multiple partners across the region (North Central Washington RC&D, Chelan County, Port of Chelan, WA Department of Natural Resources, US Forest Service and others) to determine biomass feasibility in our area.
The CWSC recently signed this document, establishing the Chelan County Biomass Collaborative! This is a great milestone for Chelan County and the CWSC will continue to particpate.
